Battle of the Businesses: Pickleball

Hello Foresters!

Pickleball! Another event of the 2019 YMCA Battle of the Businesses. Sign up by Monday, June 3. The event takes place Saturday, June 8, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Huntington Memorial Park Outdoor Courts. Two-person teams consist of mens, womens, or coed. No experience necessary!  Pickleball is similar to tennis, ping pong, and badminton but on a court smaller than a tennis court.   Watch this video for a quick introduction to the sport. 

HU employees who participate in at least 3 events Battle Events throughout the year will receive a $25 gift card to the HU Bookstore. Participate in at least 5 events and you will receive a $50 gift card for the HU Bookstore.

It is free to do any events for the Battle – the event is all about building community with fellow Huntington faculty/staff and local businesses. If you are interested in participating, email Jean Cole at jcole@huntington.edu.
