WOMEN’S GOLF

The HU women’s golf team headed into Easter break by hosting its own invitational at Cobblestone Golf Course where they shot a 378 to finish fifth overall.

Alexandria Maris finished tied for 13th with an 88 to pace Huntington. Rachel Blauert turned in a 92. Megan Higgins posted a 98 while Alayna Steely carded a 100. Other scores for HU included Sara Scott with 107 and Katie Springer’s 109.

Bethel won the 36-hole event with a 318 followed by Grace (333), Mount Vernon (348), Missouri Baptist (377), HU (378) and Cornerstone (407).

The Foresters wrap up the year with the Crossroads League Championships slated for April 22-23 at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel, Ind.
