TRACK & FIELD

The Crossroads League released its athletes of the week, and among the list was Huntington University junior Adrien Gentie as the CL Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Running on his home turf over the weekend, Gentie broke the school record in the 1500 meters by posting a time of 3:58.03, good for first place on Saturday among the field of 16 runners.

Gentie upended Dave Luce’s record of 32 years. The Frenchman is just the third Forester in program history to run a sub-four-minute 1500 meters.
