Day of Giving 2018

Dear Forester Family,

On Thursday, Nov. 15, you’re invited to participate in HU’s second annual Day of Giving.

Here’s how you can help grow a Forest of Foresters!

1.      Be an HU social media advocate: Share, comment, and like posts on HU’s social media sites throughout the day. We also have special Day of Giving logos created that you can use as temporary profile pictures. You can even create your own posts or selfie videos! Don’t forget to tag Huntington University and use #FundAForester. For more ideas on how to be an ambassador, use a Day of Giving logo as a profile picture, and more, please visit the social media ambassador toolkit.

2.      Donate that day: Your gift of any amount makes a difference! You can give online at www.huntington.edu/DayOfGiving, call (260) 356-6000 or drop off your contribution in the Advancement Office between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

3.      Share your HU story with others.

4.      Encourage others to do the same.

5.      Pray for Huntington University.

Double your gift on Day of Giving! Several HU partners have generously committed to $33,000 in matching gifts to the Forester Fund when certain challenges are met. Check out the Day of Giving website to learn more about how you can help unlock these matching gifts. 

Indiana residents, did you know you are eligible for a 50% state tax credit for gifts made to HU? Individuals can receive up to $100 credit from a gift of $200 or more. Those filing jointly can receive up to $200 credit from a gift of $400 or more.  

As faculty and staff, your investment in HU students is far and wide! Thank you for your commitment to HU students and for considering a gift on November 15.
