Holiday Schedule
Huntington University will observe the Thanksgiving Holiday beginning Wednesday, November 21st through Friday, November 23rd. We hope you will use this as a time of reflection and for giving thanks for all God’s blessings. University employees regularly scheduled to work on Wednesday, November 21st, will be receive holiday pay as the reason for the closer is due to maintenance work that needs to be performed. November 21st remains the scheduled pay date.
The Senior Leadership Team also announced that the University campus will be closed for the Christmas and New Year’s Holidays from the end of business on Friday, December 21st until offices reopen on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 8:00 am. Holiday pay is provided for eligible employees for each day the employee would normally be scheduled to work during this time. Scheduling of additional vacation time remains with the Supervisor.
Given the holiday closing schedule, please keep in mind if you are considering a year-end gift, to receive 2018 giving credit, please make gifts online by 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2018 or postmark on or before December 31, 2018 if mailing a gift.
