The Challenge of Antibiotic Resistance, 4 pm today, Hiner Hall

Dr. Daniel Becker, Professor of Chemistry at Loyola University Chicago, will give a presentation entitled “Employing Medicinal Chemistry to Face the Challenge of Antibiotic Resistance” from 4 to 5 pm on Friday, Nov. 2 in Hiner Hall of the Science Hall. Dr. Becker will present a fascinating account of his work in a style suitable for a general audience. The seminar is part of the Gerald D. Smith Lecture Series in the Natural and Mathematical Sciences, and is free and open to the public. Elective chapel credit will be given for students attending the entire presentation.
