“The course got the better of us this weekend,” noted Sholund. “As a team we are in need of improving our game around the greens, Blackthorn exposed that this week.
“The team is determined and focused on continuing to improve in that area. We take a lot of positive things and each player learned a lot from playing a challenging course. Our Confidence is growing and we’re excited to get back to work next weekend at the Saint. Francis invitational.”
Taylor claimed the title with a 630 followed by Indiana Wesleyan (654), Olivet Nazarene (663), Bethel (664), HU (723), Bethel B (746) and Holy Cross (750).
Next up for the Foresters is the USF Fall Invitational slated for September 28-29.
