WOMEN’S TENNIS – Forester Feed

Play with a shuffled line-up that didn’t include HU’s #2 player Morgan Fitzpatrick, the Forester women’s tennis team went toe-to-toe with Taylor University Tuesday afternoon at Klopfenstein Courts before succumbing to the Trojans 5-4.

The loss snaps a four-game win streak Huntington held over TU. Lanae Singleton was Coach Ferguson’s lone double winner. After teaming up with Lisa Collling at No. 1 doubles to beat Molly Fletchall and Alexa Kling, 8-6, the Plymouth native ousted Courtney Clark, 6-3, 6-3, at the No. 4 spot in singles action.

The Foresters (5-2, 4-2) take to the courts again on Wednesday to host Goshen at 4:00 p.m.
