Senior Ignacio Poncio has been named the Crossroads League Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for the week of September 10 as announced by the league office yesterday afternoon.

The Argentinian went undefeated at the No. 1 slot in both singles and doubles last week to guide the Foresters to a pair of sweeps over Grace and Saint Francis. On the season, Poncio is a 6-0 in doubles action and 5-1 in singles play.

Huntington is off to a fast start this fall with an overall record of 5-1 which includes a 4-1 record in conference action.
