MEN’S TENNIS

The HU men’s tennis team broke the spell against Tiffin University with a 7-2 win over the Dragons. The W snaps a four-game win streak TU had over Coach Eckert and crew.

The final score wasn’t necessarily indicative of the battle between these two teams as two of the three doubles matches came down to a tiebreaker while a pair of singles matches went three sets.

Today’s match was the first non-conference clash for the Foresters as they improve to 5-1 overall, 4-1 in league play. Next up for HU is ITA Regionals hosted by Indiana Wesleyan September 13-15.
