Multicultural/Diversity Events in the area

Friends,

There are two events going on/upcoming that I want you to be aware of in the field of multiculturalism and diversity.

First, through November 2, there is a free exhibit at the Allen County Public Library entitled “Perceptive Stills.” More information can be seen here:
http://www.acpl.lib.in.us/amv/JeffreyKrullGallery/index.html. The gallery is free and open to the public.

Second, on Friday November 22 from 9am-3pm, the Victory Noll Center in Huntington is presenting a workshop entitled, “Migrant Farming: A Journey Through the Eyes of Our Hispanic Brothers and Sisters.” It is a workshop about human trafficking and migrant labor. The registration cost is by donation only. I am planning to go and possibly with some students. A free lunch is also provided. If you would like to go as a group, please contact me at kmetzger@huntington.edu.
