Occupational Therapy Programs — Guatemala Mission Trip Coffee Fundraiser
Huntington’s OTA and OTD programs are raising money for their mission trip to Guatemala in May 2027. They will be working in partnership with Bethel Ministries International to share the love of Christ and serve by providing seating and mobility services for people with disabilities in Guatemala. Students will be serving alongside licensed occupational therapists or physical therapists to evaluate and fit people with disabilities for custom wheelchairs or other mobility devices, providing the gift of mobility. Each person will also receive a Bible in their native language and an invitation to become a part of the local church, ensuring follow-up after our short-term team leaves the country.
To support our students for this mission trip, we are selling one-pound bags of specialty medium-roast Guatemalan coffee for $30.
To purchase a bag of coffee: Please visit our mission trip page at https://HUForms.formstack.com/forms/guatemala_coffee_coffee_bags. If you prefer to pay with cash or a check, please contact Alena Calloway at acalloway@huntington.edu.
To pick up the coffee: You can either visit our location at 1819 Carew St. in Fort Wayne, IN, or pick up your coffee at the OTA office in Dowden Science Hall. At this time, we are unable to deliver coffee directly to customers.
If you have any questions or would like to coordinate a coffee pick up, please contact me at acalloway@huntington.edu.
Thank you for supporting Huntington University students to serve in Guatemala!
