Changes at the RichLyn Library

This summer, the RichLyn Library launched a new library system. Our goal is to streamline patron services and improve accessibility for our users. This change also allows us to create deeper collaboration with other libraries through our involvement with the Private Academic Library Network of Indiana (PALNI), with whom we have shared a library system for many years. This new system also allows the library to move to a more sustainable model that allows us to focus on the needs of our patrons.

While many of the changes are taking place behind the scenes, library users will notice a new look and feel while searching library resources. Previously, WorldCat Discovery was utilized to locate materials owned by the RichLyn Library and materials available through other libraries worldwide. Moving forward, users will see EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) as the primary search interface and Koha as the local library catalog. WorldCat Discovery will still be available moving forward but primarily as a tool to locate materials through other libraries worldwide. As a note to faculty, we do not anticipate any issues with Moodle links, but we recommend checking links to library resources to ensure they are working as expected.

While the initial system migration is complete, the library is still working to refine the new system to meet the needs of users at Huntington University. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this project.
