WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Five members of the Huntington University women’s basketball team have been recognized by the Crossroads League for their standout performances during the 2025-26 season, highlighted by two First Team selections.

After earning Second Team All-League honors a year ago, junior Liv Raby elevated her game to secure First Team All-League distinction this season, joining nine others as the league’s top performers. The 6-1 forward leads Huntington in scoring at 13.0 points per game while shooting an impressive 52.5 percent from the floor — the third-highest mark in the Crossroads League.

Raby also averages 7.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 blocks per outing. A consistent double-team target, she has proven to be one of the most dominant post presences in the league.

Joining Raby on the First Team is fellow junior Annaka Nelson. The 6-1 do-it-all forward contributes 12.5 points per game while adding 4.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.2 steals and a team-best 1.2 blocks per contest. Nelson’s versatility on both ends of the floor makes her a matchup nightmare, as she can score inside and stretch the defense with 1.6 three-pointers per game.

Sophomore Addie Shank garnered Second Team All-League honors after an impressive campaign in the paint. The 6-0 forward averages 10.6 points and a team-high 8.5 rebounds per game — the third-best rebounding mark in the league — while also contributing 1.1 assists per outing.

Junior Kyndell Jochim and sophomore Kyndra Sheets earned Honorable Mention All-League recognition.

Jochim, one of the league’s most dangerous perimeter threats, leads the Foresters with 46 made three-pointers, averaging 2.2 triples per game. Earlier this season, she etched her name in the record books by draining 10 three-pointers against Rochester Christian on November 8 to set a new program record for threes in a single game.

Sheets has served as Huntington’s floor general all season, logging nearly 37 minutes per game. The 5-6 guard averages 9.2 points while dishing out a team-best 4.5 assists per contest — ranking third in the Crossroads League — to go along with 3.1 rebounds and 1.1 steals per outing.

The Foresters are carrying an 18-11 record, finishing fourth in the Crossroads League standings. Huntington now awaits Thursday evening’s NAIA National Tournament Selection Show to learn if they will earn an at-large bid to the national tournament.
