Shoes Needed for Sound Effects Class
Hey campus community,
Our sound effect student team is gearing up for sound design on our next feature film, and we’ve run into a very specific (and slightly hilarious) challenge: Apparently, none of our students own heels or flats.
We’re looking to borrow (or permanently adopt!) women’s shoes in approximately sizes 7.5 or 9.5 — though slightly larger is totally fine. These will be used to record authentic footstep sounds for key scenes in the film.
If your spouse, daughter, or someone in your family has a pair they’re ready to part with, especially ones that don’t mind a second life in the movies, we would be incredibly grateful. Shoes that are “ready for retirement” are perfect, trust me.
If we can’t source a few pairs by tomorrow morning, I’ll be making a thrift-store run, but I thought I’d check with our creative campus community first.
Thanks for helping us bring the world of this film to life — one footstep at a time! 🙂
Please bring them to Becker Hall second floor and place on the bench outside my office door area or bring in to my assistant, Sabrina!
Blessings,
Lance Clark
