Junior Liv Raby was named the Crossroads League Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week following a dominant stretch that powered #RV Huntington to a pair of convincing wins last week.
The 6-1 center led the Foresters to victories over Mount Vernon Nazarene and Grace, averaging 25.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game while shooting an impressive 66.7 percent from the field. Her standout performance included a milestone moment in the Grace win, where she scored her 1,000th career point in the fourth quarter.
This honor marks the second time this season Raby has earned CL Offensive Player of the Week recognition, having first claimed the award to open the season in October. Behind her play, the Foresters won both games by an average of 19 points and secured season sweeps of both MVNU and Grace.
Huntington currently sits at 16-6 overall and 8-4 in Crossroads League action, good for fourth place in the standings. Raby and the Foresters return to action Wednesday with a road trip to #RV Indiana Wesleyan, with tip-off scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
