The Huntington volleyball team is headed to the final site of the 2025 NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Championships after delivering a stunning reverse sweep of 19th-ranked Viterbo on the road Saturday night.
With the historic victory, the Foresters (25-8) earn their first-ever Opening Round win and secure one of just 24 spots at the championship stage in Sioux City, Iowa, beginning December 3.
Entering as the 24th seed, Huntington has been placed in Pool A, where they will compete against No. 1 Eastern Oregon (29-2) and No. 16 St. Thomas (Fla.) (26-4). HU opens play against top-seeded Eastern Oregon on Wednesday, December 3, at 10:00 a.m. CT, followed by a matchup with St. Thomas on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. CT.
This year marks the 18th-straight NAIA Women’s Volleyball Championship held at the Tyson Event Center in Sioux City. The final site format features three days of pool play (Dec. 3–5). Only the top team from each three-team pool will advance to the single-elimination quarterfinals on Saturday, December 6. The semifinals will take place on Monday, December 8, and the Battle for the Red Banner is set for Tuesday, December 9.
All matches at the final site will be streamed FREE on the NAIA Channel of the Urban Edge Network.

- The Foresters are one of three Crossroads League teams advancing to Sioux City, joining No. 4 Indiana Wesleyan and No. 11 Mount Vernon Nazarene.
- HU is one of only five teams to earn a road victory in the Opening Round.
- Huntington is one of just seven at-large teams remaining in the championship field.
- Twelve conferences will be represented in Sioux City.
- Indiana Wesleyan and Missouri Baptist are the only remaining programs in the field that have won previous national titles.
