WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY
The Huntington University women’s cross country team finished seventh out of 13 teams at the Ray Bullock Invitational, hosted by Taylor University in Upland, Ind. The Foresters put forth a strong team effort in a field of 94 runners.
Senior Molly Harding led the Foresters with a 23:56.5 clocking, earning 32nd place overall, followed closely by graduate student Shaylynn Reyes, who ran 23:58.8 for 35th. Junior Lily Spaulding continued HU’s solid showing with a 25:02.2 finish in 54th, and senior Amelia Strzechowski crossed the line in 55th overall. Freshman Lily Hegenberger rounded out the scoring five with a 29:48.5 finish in 91st.
LOOKING FORWARD
The Foresters will compete in the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge in Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 25th.
