End of Fiscal Year Accounts Payable Reminder

Our fiscal year ends May 31, 2025, so please be aware of the following regarding purchases and expense recognition:

1. Purchase orders for fiscal year 2024-2025 must be submitted to Pam Rudy by May 23, 2025, to ensure timely processing.

2. To recognize expenses against the 2024-2025 budget, accounting rules dictate that the goods and services must be received prior to or on May 31, 2025. There are no exceptions.

3. Goods and services received after May 31, 2025, will be recorded in fiscal year 2025-2026.

4. Watch your credit card statements for purchases made at the end of the month. Those transactions may not post until June and therefore, will be recorded in June unless the Office of Business & Finance is notified.
