Major Biography from an HU Professor

Our very own Professor of Missions, Jordan Monson, is publishing a major biography with B&H on April 29. Dr. Katharine Barnwell is likely one of the most influential missionaries who’s ever lived. But because she’s worked in the shadows, very few people know who she is.
From fleeing Nazi bombing raids as a little girl to escaping civil wars on foot and by river, to being hunted by terrorists, she has a fascinating story. She also did more to revolutionize world missions than almost anybody in church history.
