2025 Annual Contribution Limits for Retirement and HSA

For 2025, contributions limits have increased for the 403b retirement plans. Also, changes made with the Secure 2.0 Act offer a higher catch-up amount for employees aged 60-63. Below is the information for annual 403b contribution limits and catch-up limits for 2025.

2025 contribution limit for 403b retirement account is $23,500 (increased $500).

Catch-Up Contributions:

  • Age 50 and over: $7,500 (remains the same)
  • Age 60, 61, 62, and 63: $11,250 (new amount)

If you would like to make changes for 2025, you can complete the TIAA retirement change form located on the HU Portal under benefits. You can make changes to your retirement plan at any time during the year.

Health Savings Account contribution limits have also increased for 2025. It is $4,300 for individual coverage and $8,550 for family coverage.

If you would like to make any changes to your HSA, please complete the HSA change form located on the HU Portal under benefits. You can make changes to your HSA account at any time during the year.
