Florida Spring Break and Jamaica May Trip

We need your help! Could you please join me in promoting the Jamaica Service-Learning Trip, where students will serve for three days in Jamaica in a job shadow/intern-type position and complete a service project with the entire team to help those in the community? And of course, we will go to the beach once or twice. This can be taken for cultural credit, and each student’s experience will be tailored to their field of study. Trips like this increase retention and belonging and give students once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Please mention this opportunity when you get a chance.

Spring Break will be another great opportunity for students to fly to Kissimmee, Florida, to the Give Kids the World Village, where they will volunteer for a week to help families who are on vacation with their critically ill child. You might be familiar with “Make a Wish” type vacations — this is similar. We will stay in an Airbnb with a pool and fill the week with service, laughs, and Florida sunshine.
