Spirit of a Forester – Opportunity for Faculty & Staff

Update: Four more volunteers needed!

Dear Faculty and Staff,

We need your help to make this year’s Spirit of a Forester Scholarship Competition on Saturday, October 19 a memorable success! Last year, we had over 65 students competing, and while it was a fantastic event, we struggled to meet the demand for interviewers. This year, we’re expecting even more of our brightest admitted students, and we want to ensure they have an incredible experience – that’s where you come in!

This is more than just an interview – it’s your chance to connect with the future of Huntington University, share our Forester spirit, and play a direct role in helping these students choose HU. Plus, it’s a lot of fun!

Why Should You Join Us?

  • Inspire the Next Generation: You’ll meet some of our most talented and motivated prospective students, getting the opportunity to see firsthand what makes them special.
  • Make a Difference: Your participation could be the key factor in a student’s decision to attend HU – you have the power to shape their future!
  • Engage and Energize: Step out of your routine and into an exciting day of dynamic conversations, insightful discussions, and the chance to represent what makes HU great.
  • Flexible Time Commitment: Can’t stay for the whole event? No problem! You can help for the full 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. window, or just part of it: 9:30–11:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Every bit of your time makes a difference.
