MEN’S SOCCER

For the second time this season, HU senior Dan Pellegrine was voted the Crossroads League Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office earlier today.

The 6-3 keeper worked 180 scoreless minutes in goal for the Foresters, helping his team to 1-0 wins over Saint Xavier and Lawrence Tech last week. He preserved the clean sheets by stopping three shots on target in each match.

Huntington (5-2-1) is back in action on Wednesday to host Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m.
