HU Foundation Breakfast – February 14
Join us for our upcoming Huntington University Foundation Breakfast on February 14 focusing on one of the newest academic endeavors at Huntington University — a concurrent dual-degree program in animal health and vet nursing. The new opportunity trains students to be a part of the workforce within this specific agbioscience sector. A partnership between the Haupert Institute for Agricultural Studies and Purdue University’s College of Veterinary Medicine was formed to launch a new concurrent dual-degree option for students in the fall of 2023. The option combines a bachelor’s degree in animal health from HU and an associates degree in veterinary nursing from Purdue. HU’s Nate Perry will lead a discussion from a panel of experts including Aimee Graves, RVT, HU’s animal health advisor; Dr. Edward McKaig, DVM, HU’s veterinary in residence, and Dr. Chad Brown, DVM, director of veterinary nursing programs at Purdue University.
Please RSVP by February 8 by clicking the link below to reserve your spot. If you RSVP and then realize you cannot make it, please email jlamar@huntington.edu ASAP as it does cost the Foundation $15/person.
