2024 Annual Chili Cook-Off
Huntington University’s Community Enhancement Council is hosting its 5th Annual Faculty/Staff Chili Cook-Off & Dessert Celebration for the benefit of United with Love of Huntington County.
Returning from last year will be our TRAVELING NORM TROPHY!!!! This trophy can be displayed in the winning department/division until the next annual challenge! The department bringing the most canned goods will win the trophy.
When: Friday, January 5, from 12:00-1:30 p.m.
Where: Upper DC Banquet Room
Categories: Chili, Soup, and Dessert
Contestants: Email Pam Rudy with category participating by January 3, 2024
You may participate in all three categories. All submissions must be homemade!
Voters: Each person bringing a pantry donation (or monetary donation) for UNITED WITH LOVE will receive one ticket to vote for each category (chili, soup, dessert)
Voting is from 12:00-12:45 p.m., and People’s Choice winners will be announced at approximately 12:45 p.m.
Here is a list of the most needed items for United with Love’s food pantry:
Cereal/Oatmeal; Peanut Butter/Jelly; Canned Fruit & Veggies; Spaghetti & Sauce; Mac & Cheese; Canned Beans, Tuna, Soup; Hygiene Items; Laundry Detergent; Dish Soap; Cash or Check to United with Love
RSVP to Pam Rudy at prudy@huntington.edu by the end of the day on January 3, noting what you will be bringing: Chili, Soup, and/or Dessert.
Chili/Soup should be in crock pots. Drop off between 8:00 and 11:00 a.m. in the DC banquet room.
