WOMEN’S TENNIS

The Huntington women’s tennis team blanked Saint Francis 7-0 Monday evening at Swinney Tennis Courts. It was the Foresters’ last CL match and bumps them to 2-6 in league play, 3-6 overall.

As of late, Huntington has dominated the series between these two squads to the tune of ten straight wins, a streak that dates back to 2015.

With tonight’s win, HU locks in the 7th spot in the conference tournament. They will play at #2 Bethel in quarterfinal action of the tourney slated to begin October 3. The Foresters are back in action tomorrow for a non-conference home match against Manchester at 4:00 p.m.
