WOMEN’S TENNIS

The HU women’s tennis team fell victim to #RV Bethel 7-0 Saturday afternoon at Klopfenstein Courts. The Pilots have been on a tear this season, which includes knocking off #23 Marian recently, to sit second in the Crossroads League with a 6-1 record in league play which also serves as their overall record.

HU’s bright spot was at #2 doubles where Isabella Herrera and Nina Golfier outlasted Kaavya Palani and Ariadni Kokoula 7-6 (7-2). While BU has nabbed wins four out of the last five times these two squads have faced off, prior to that Huntington had strung together nine straight wins over the Pilots.

Next up for Huntington (1-4, 0-4) is a 4:00 p.m. matchup at #19 Indiana Wesleyan on Tuesday.
