Disc Golf Tournament On Campus Saturday, September 30
On Saturday, September 30 we’ll be hosting a three-disc challenge disc golf tournament (MVP Circuit Challenge) on home campus open to all employees, students, and the public. The entry fee comes with three discs you’ll collect the day of the tournament and get to take home with you. How can you help?
- Pray that the weather is nice and for safety. As long as there is no lightning, disc golf tournaments happen rain or shine, but we prefer shine.
- Enter the tournament! If you play, we’d love to have you. If you don’t but want to learn — sign up, let me know you need some schooling, and we’ll see if we can schedule a time for our students in the Disc Golf Club to set up some training sessions.
- Support the course/club by purchasing a players pack. If you don’t play, and don’t want to learn, you can still sign up and select the “PP” (Players Pack – Not Playing) division, then in the comments mention you’d like to donate your discs to the Disc Golf Club. Monetary proceeds will go towards upgrades and maintenance on the course, and the discs will get donated to the HU Disc Golf Club’s stock for the students to use.
- Spread the word and invite others to play! Three-disc challenges are great tournaments for experienced players as well as newcomers to get out and enjoy the day together.
We’ll have performance-based prizes/awards as well as raffle tickets anyone can purchase for even more prize/fundraising opportunities. All proceeds will go towards upgrades and maintenance of the course.
Registration is located here.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!
