The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released its baseball All-American teams, and among the 68 athletes honored were HU graduate Langston Ginder and sophomore Graham Kollen.

The pair were just two of four Crossroads League players to earn All-American honors.

Ginder saved his best for last and for his efforts was tabbed Second Team All-American. The second baseman pounded out 71 hits, 31 for extra bases, which included a team-leading 15 homers. He posted a .360 batting average and .685 slugging percentage.

The Huntertown native (Carroll HS) drove in a league-best 68 runs. He swiped 36 bases this spring and came around to score 65 times.

As the Crossroads League Pitcher of the Year, Kollen earned a spot on the Honorable Mention All-American Team. The 6-3 hurler posted a 2.84 ERA on his way to notching eight wins on the season.

The Fort Wayne native (Carroll HS) racked up a league-leading 94 strikeouts this season while surrendering just 68 hits, 28 runs, only 26 of which are earned, and 26 walks in 82.1 innings pitched. He limited opponents to a .227 batting average while averaging 10.28 strikeouts per nine.

The Foresters set a new program record for wins in a season with 38. HU’s overall record was 38-16, which included a 27-9 league record good for second in the league.
