Fiscal Year End Reminder

Our fiscal year ended May 31, so please be aware of the following regarding purchases and payments of invoices:

1.  Purchase orders for fiscal year 2022-2023 can no longer be requested.
2. The accounting rule to record expenditures in 2022-2023 is that the goods and services must have been received prior to or on May 31, 2023. There is no exception to this rule.
3. The Office of Business and Finance will accept invoices and payments for 2022-2023 expenses through June 16. Please clearly indicate on the invoice if it is to be recorded as a 2022-2023 expense.
4. Goods and services received after May 31, 2023, will be recorded against the 2023-2024 budget.
