INDOOR TRACK & FIELD

The awards continue to pile up for Addy Wiley with her latest accolade announced today by the NAIA when she was named this week’s National Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Wiley competed at the Camel City Invitational and became the first collegiate athlete to win the women’s mile, topping a field of NCAA Division I and professional athletes.

Her time of 4:32.15 is currently the second fastest indoor mile across all collegiate divisions and crushed the previous NAIA all-time indoor mile record by more than five seconds. She also set a new HU and JDL Fast Track record.

Today’s NAIA national weekly honor is Wiley’s fourth of the year. Her resume includes two from the indoor season and two from cross country season.
