HU Arizona Cohosts Arizona Film Commission Weeklong Workshop

Finals week is a bit livelier than usual at HU Arizona because we are cohosting the State of Arizona Film Commission’s Film Production Assistant Certification Workshop in partnership with Glendale Community College’s film program. Phil Wilson and Luis Bohorquez are on the instructor team, and several HU Arizona students are among the 33 total participants who will be certified to work on major projects coming to Arizona like HBO, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sony, etc. Also among the participants are 12 GCC students thinking about places to continue their film education after their Associate of Arts degree is completed, so having them spend three full days in our building isn’t a bad dealio!
