Professor Jeff Webb Dec. 2 Presentation on “How to Disagree: An HU Case Study”

History & Political Science Professor Jeff Webb, PhD will be presenting a scholarly conversation at RichLyn Library on the main level for the campus community.

The event will be held Friday, December 2, at 11:00 a.m.

Description: “Huntington College students in the 1940s-1970s found themselves on opposite sides of some important theological, social, and political issues. Dr. Webb has explored the archives and published a few essays that map areas of contention in the student body. Research shows that debate was lively and informed, and that the campus discovered ways to vigorously disagree while maintaining a spirit of Christian comity.”
