Spring 2023 Academic Emphasis Events

I have been asked to help facilitate an academic research focus week/month for spring 2023.

The student Academic Research Forum (ARF), faculty Forester Lecture and/or Professor Mark Fairchild’s Fulbright Lecture, the Library Spring Faculty Scholarship Display & Reception, athletic academic honors/awards, the Longaker Honors Recital, student art awards, an Alpha Chi event, a chapel event, etc., were all mentioned as possibilities to tie together on the calendar.

I thought I would begin by getting a survey of the landscape of events that could be coordinated and promoted together.

Do you know if any of these dates have been set yet?

The Library Faculty Scholarship Display & Reception will be timed to tie-in with other events.

Please let me know if any dates have been set that you are aware of and if you would like to be part of a team to help put this together by the end of the semester.

Possible naming ideas are welcome, too: Research Emphasis Week, Forester Academic Achievement Week, Academic Honors Week, Academic Emphasis Week, etc.
