Chief Keirsh’s Safety Tip

The Huntington University Police Department is dedicated to ensuring that Foresters not only are safe but that they FEEL safe. One issue that has been popping back up on home campus is the propping of doors. At no point should students, faculty, or staff prop any door open. We have a locking system and key card access in place for your safety. Please always remember to take your ID card or key with you so you can get back into your space. If you have special access to academic or athletic space and you scan someone else in or open the door for someone who is not authorized, you may have your access suspended or terminated. Campus safety is a community effort!
