WOMEN’S TENNIS

The Forester women’s tennis team competed in the DePauw Fall Invitational on Saturday. The format of the day was flighted individual matches with Esther Bolon and Grace Meyer winning their bracket at #3 and #4 singles respectively.

The duo of Morgan Fitzpatrick and Lena Kurzweil also brought home a first place finish in the No. 2 doubles bracket.

“The DePauw Fall Invitational was a great opportunity for our players to compete without the pressure of team results and as a tune-up for the upcoming conference tournament,” said Coach Roger Ferguson. “Our ladies all performed well with several either winning their brackets or finishing as the runner-up.”

The 6th-seeded Foresters kick off the Crossroads League tournament on Tuesday with a trip to Mishawaka to face 3rd-seeded Bethel in quarterfinal action.
