Jean Cole Retiring

Jean Cole, human resources manager, has announced her retirement from service at Huntington University. She began her career with HU as a payroll specialist in January 2016. Her move to human resources was a natural next step in her career at HU. Recognizing that her new role required additional training, Jean received her SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management) certification quickly after her promotion. As a result, Jean has kept HU current on the latest human resource laws, regulations, and trends and for that, we are grateful.

Every HU employee has the opportunity to interact with Jean in her current position. There are not many positions on campus that do the same. Jean has filled that role with the integrity, confidentiality, compassion, and encouragement that it requires. In addition, Jean’s love for the University and for the Lord is evident in her service here. She will be missed.

Jean will be with us through July 31, working Monday-Wednesday in the office. She will be available on Thursdays in the morning by phone and email.
