HU sophomores Adelyn Harsh and Breanna Hines were among the list of Crossroads League All-Conference honorees as announced by the league office yesterday afternoon.
Harsh was picked as a member of the Second Team, the first All-Conference praise of her young Forester career. The Caston High School product (Kewanna, Ind.) did a little bit of everything for Coach Ehler’s crew. In addition to making 25 appearances in the circle which included notching four wins, she also offered a big bat by notching a team-tying five homeruns on the season.
Offensively, the heavy hitter also collected 38 hits, drew 13 walks and knocked in 28 runs. She finished the season with a .298 batting average and scored 20 runs.
Hines (Frontier HS, Brookston, Ind.) was honored as an Honorable Mention selection for her second All-Conference badge in as many years. The leftfielder posted a team-best 53 hits which included 11 doubles and two triples. She scored 26 times and drove in 21 runs while boasting a .333 batting average.
The Foresters finished the season with an overall record of 16-34.
