Forester Orientation – First 10 Days

‘Tis the Season.

Orientation planning is underway. As the Orientation team is finishing up planning, we need your help with a new Orientation initiative First Ten Days. The First Ten Days is simple; during the first ten days of the semester, we want to have a program for students to attend.

• The Goal of the First Ten Days is to introduce students to various parts of the HU community. The goal is not to overwhelm students with big-time events but to create programs for students to engage with different spaces on campus.
  • Programs can be as small as “Coffee and Donuts with Student Success” or a virtual campaign that highlights why your office is essential to students in and outside of the class
• Audience: First-Time Foresters and other students (but for the most part, first-time students)

Note: Due to pre-established traditions and events, there will be blackout dates and times that an event cannot be hosted.
