Forester Lecture Next Week

“The Contradictory Christ” by JC Beall, Notre Dame Philosophy

Classical logic (think Aristotle) does not allow a statement to be both true and false. This makes the claim that Jesus is both man and God a contradiction.

As we develop intellectual tools, it is common to revisit — and struggle with — mysteries we previously accepted.

Please encourage your students to attend the Forester Lecture and hear a world-class scholar address how the dual nature of Jesus may be reconciled. Please also consider attending the lecture for your own stimulation, which will likely encourage student attendance.
