Christman’s first win of the day was the 3000 meters where she clocked in at 10:02.54, a new PR, to hit the NAIA A standard. Her time is currently the fourth-best in the nation. She then teamed up with Sydney Lambert, Abigail Mays and Emily Tedder to win the DMR in 12:15.68 which is the No. 1 mark in the NAIA.

Senior Dylan Felger also ran two incredible races over on Saturday to win the men’s weekly badge. In his first race of the day, the Ossian native sprinted to a first-place finish in the 600 meters by clocking in at 1:19.32 which not only earned him an automatic bid to NAIA Nationals but also set a program record and proved the fastest time among his NAIA peers.
Felger went on run a leg of HU’s DMR team that brought home gold. He along with Elijah Chesterman, Josiah Sovine and Reece Gibson ran an A-standard time of 10:09.82 which is the second-fastest time in the NAIA this season.
Felger entered the weekend having already qualified for nationals in the 200 and 400 meters.
