Electrical Engineering Comes to HU
Huntington University is pleased to announce that the University will begin offering a dual degree in electrical engineering and mathematics. This parallel dual-degree program, offered in cooperation with the University of North Dakota (UND), enables students to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics at Huntington University and a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from UND through the University of North Dakota’s exceptional College of Engineering and Mines online program.
We will welcome our first cohort of electrical engineering students in the fall of 2022. Along with aspiring electrical engineers, we are welcoming an engineering advisory council to our ranks. The engineering advisory council is a team of individuals from the engineering field who will advise HU’s leadership and faculty, act as mentors and advisors to our engineering students, and connect Foresters with internships and job opportunities during and after college. We are also looking for a local mentor and advisor for our engineering students.
If you know of anyone interested in serving on the engineering advisory council or as a local engineering advisor, please contact Dr. Luke Fetters and Dr. Jeff Lehman.
