TONIGHT: Signs & Wonders Screening of Princess Mononoke
You are invited to join us for a Signs & Wonders movie screening and discussion of Princess Mononoke TONIGHT, Wednesday, November 10 at 7:00 p.m. in MCA 140 (Longaker Recital Hall). The post-screening discussion will be hosted by the students of DMA’s Faith, Film, and Culture class.
Princess Mononoke is a 1997 Japanese epic historical fantasy film by Studio Ghibli, the same studio that made Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle.
The movie will start at 7:00 p.m., and the discussion and panel will begin at 9:15. The entire event will run from 7:00-10:00 p.m. If you’ve already seen the movie and want to only attend the discussion, you are more than welcome to do so. We will be engaging themes and topics from the movie about the balance of life and death, an “us vs. them” mentality, and good vs. evil. Students may receive chapel credit for attending the discussion.
