Career Chats with Students

November is National Career Development Month. One way you could celebrate this time is to ask students the following question: “What are you most curious about regarding your career journey?” 

Students exhibiting freeze responses to an uncertain and potentially scary future may look like laziness. Through modeling curiosity and empathy, we can help students explore their choices, emotions, and values in a meaningful ways.
