Chapel Sept. 7 – Nygel Simms

Nygel Simms is a public speaker, community organizer, and youth worker equipper who strives to enrich communities and individuals through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Nygel serves as Youth for Christ National City Life director. Nygel was first connected to the YFC mission in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 2014. He began to serve in his local chapter first as City Life director, regional director, and now his current role as YFC’s National City Life director. Nygel resides in Fort Wayne, where he serves on several Fort Wayne committees, including Public Art, chairman of Community Schools Youth Agency Group Coalition, South Side High School STEAM, Fort Wayne United, United Front, and board member of Great Kids Make Great Communities and The YMCA.

Nygel is passionate to equip and inspire communities and individuals to be their best selves. He has a heart for individuals who experience hopelessness, to no fault of their own, to encounter the love of Jesus like he has multiple times throughout his life.

Some of Nygel’s hobbies are tennis, basketball, spades, euchre, watching sports, traveling, and spending quality time with his family and friends.

We look forward to welcoming him today as he shares his message “Unity Starts With Us” at 11:00 a.m. in Zurcher Auditorium.
