*UPDATED* Spring Spectator Policy

The Huntington University Athletic Department has announced its 2021 plans for spectator attendance at home contests. These guidelines have been put in place to maximize the safety and well-being of all attendees, including student-athletes, coaches, officials, staff and spectators.

The protocols outlined below affect HU home athletic events for the spring of 2020-21. These guidelines take effect Friday, March 19, 2021.

Forester fans wanting to attend an away game should verify the fan attendance policy on that school’s website prior to traveling.

Home games will be streamed online free of charge on HU’s YouTube channel.

WHO CAN ATTEND HOME BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL GAMES AND TRACK MEETS
Spectator attendance will be open to all home and visiting fans as well as the local community. Tickets will not be required to attend any of the events, but visiting team fans and community members will be charged admission to baseball contests.

COVID-19 POLICIES FOR SPECTATORS
A mask must be worn to enter and exit the facility and when in close proximity to spectators outside their normal group of close contacts.

Physical distancing from those outside normal close contacts is recommended at the event.

Spectators who are experiencing any COVID symptoms or who have been exposed to someone who tested positive within the previous 14 days should not come to the contest.

Spectators may desire to bring their own chair to take advantage of open areas instead of sitting in the bleachers.

Spectators will be permitted to enter the athletic facility 30 minutes prior to game time.
