Required Training for all HU Employees
Huntington University has classified all employees, with the exception of those acting in their capacity as Confidential Resources (as named in the University’s Title IX Policy), as mandated reporters. As a mandated reporter, it is important for you to recognize what sexual harassment is and how to report any occurrence. Mandatory reporters are required to notify the Title IX Coordinator (and/or Campus Police if desired by the Complainant) with information regarding harassment, discrimination, and/or retaliation within 24 hours so that a report can be filed.
In order to provide you with training, Huntington University has partnered with SafeColleges to provide online educational training regarding sexual harassment and discrimination. The views represented in the SafeColleges videos may not always represent Huntington University values, but your participation in this training is strongly encouraged. It is important that you are aware of what sexual harassment/discrimination is and how to report an incident.
On Tuesday, March 16, you will receive an email with additional information regarding how to view this educational module. Please follow the instructions in the upcoming email to complete the training.
