New Foresters Serve the Frontline: Plunge 2020
The Plunge 2020 continues a Huntington University tradition of service during New Student Orientation. Foresters Serve the Frontline, including Owen’s associates and Huntington County Community School Corp.’s teachers and staff. The Friesen Center student leaders strove to bring service to campus, having new students write 1,028 letters and construct 1,028 origami boxes to stuff with Lindt chocolate. “Having something written down offers encouragement that will last,” shared Lindsie Chaplin. Hannah Stutzman, student director, added, “It’s awesome that we can serve others in the community that we haven’t touched before.” Share your appreciation of our student leaders, Trinity Burdick, Kellen Cormier, Lindsie Chapin, Donnie Fleming, and Hannah Stutzman, for finding a creative solution in the midst of COVID-19.
