COVID-19 Defense

Remember to wear your masks while indoors in common/shared spaces. Also physical distance yourself from others as much as possible. Contact tracing is what occurs when a person tests positive for COVID-19. As this process occurs, anyone within 6′ of a person who tests positive for more than 15 minutes….masked or not…will be identified as someone who had close contact and be required to quarantine for 14 days. This is a state-operated protocol, so there is no wiggle room within University guidelines. As a result, our best rules of thumb are to wear a mask, maintain distancing, and use proper hygiene practices.
